Craft Bafta for Brian Eno’s TV thriller soundtrack

The musician, best known as a pioneer of ambient music, won the British Academy of Film and Television craft award for his work on Channel 4’s Top Boy.

There were also wins for Great Expectations, Sherlock and Frozen Planet which each picked up three awards at the event which recognises behind-the-scenes talent.

Frozen Planet, hit by controversy after it emerged footage of polar bear cubs was filmed in an animal park, won awards for editing, photography and sound.

The backroom teams behind Channel 4’s Educating Essex, BBC2’s The Shadowline and the X Factor final on ITV1 were also recognised.
