Clegg pledge on royal equality

If THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a baby girl she would go on to be queen, Nick Clegg has confirmed.

She would succeed to the throne even though parliament had yet to pass a law for equality, the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Commonwealth heads of government agreed last October to change the rules.
