Clearer video game regulations begin

A SIMPLER age-rating system for video games comes into effect today.

The arrangement is designed to stop inappropriate games being sold to children under the age of 12 and give the industry more straightforward rules for rating, the government has said.

Games will be regulated under the Pan European Game Information scheme.
