Chef spared prison for killing a swan

A CHEF was given a suspended jail sentence after admitting killing a swan.

Mohammed Miah previously admitted killing the mute swan in Bedford in the early hours of 10 May. Magistrates in the town yesterday sentenced him to a 12-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months.
