Charles to visit Cumbria

PRINCE Charles is to visit the town at the centre of Derrick Bird's rampage.

A spokeswoman for the Prince said he would visit Whitehaven tomorrow to show his "support and sympathy".

It comes as the first funeral of a victim of the Cumbria gun massacre is held today, that of Garry Purdham, 31.
