British Gas advert banned

AN advert that implied British Gas would attend same-day call-outs even over Christmas has been banned.

Eleven viewers complained that British Gas misleadingly implied it would attend call-outs and do repairs on the same day, or at least very quickly, particularly over the Christmas period in the advert. British Gas disputed the complaints.
