Blair returns to support PM

TONY Blair will stage his first return to the British political battle since stepping down as Prime Minister to campaign for Labour in the upcoming general election, his close ally Lord Mandelson said today.

Mr Blair will be one of a number of faces from the early days of New Labour to fight for Gordon Brown, said Lord Mandelson.
