Bee Gee Robin’s hospital return

BEE Gees star Robin Gibb is back in hospital following further surgery, weeks after telling of his “spectacular” recovery from colon cancer.

Gibb, 62, is understood to have suffered a twisted bowel.

He is hoping to be fit enough to attend the London premiere of the Titanic Requiem, which he composed, next month.

The chart-topping singer had cancer surgery after months of illness. In February, he had talked about feeling “fantastic” following treatment and said he had begun to put on weight.

Initially his illness was feared to have been due to a hereditary condition which led to the death of twin brother Maurice at 52.
