Beard baubles are this year’s Christmas sensation

NO, it’s not April 1st. Beard baubles really are the ‘in’ thing this Christmas.

Originally created to be worn by staff at the Grey London ad agency for the firm’s Christmas card, the festive ornaments proved such a success that the designers decided to put the baubles on sale.

Ollie Dearn, who works at the company, told Mail Online: “Each year, Grey London make a Christmas card to send out to clients and other agencies.’

“This year, the two designers Mike Kennedy and Pauline Ashford went one step further and came up with a festive gift idea to feature on our cards - Beard Baubles. It was a striking image.”

All proceeds will go to Beardseason, an Australian melanoma charity that is encouraging men to grow beards during December, the designers have indicated.

The firm is out of baubles at this moment in time due to overwhelming demand for the first run, but is hoping to have more in this week.

Available for £5.00, the baubles come in packs of 14 - 10 big balls and four smaller ones (stop laughing) - and have proved to be very successful.

Dearn added: “The product has been particularly popular with Brits.

“We’ve sold more than we ever expected.

“But Aussie, American, Kiwis, German and French customers have been purchasing Beard Baubles too.”
