UK car plant goes for solar power

JAPANESE car giant Toyota is set to be the first motor manufacturer in the UK to install a large-scale solar panel facility at one of its factories.

Planning permission has been approved for 17,000 panels at its Derbyshire plant, where Auris and Avensis cars are built.
