Two top architects leave RMJM

SCOTTISH architecture firm RMJM has lost two more senior staff from its New York office – the latest in a mass exodus.

Sean Roche, principal in the New York studio, and Hyun Jun Shin, the New York-based director of Korea business division, are both understood to have left the practice.

Their profiles were yesterday removed from RMJM’s website.

The Edinburgh-based company, which previously hired ex-Royal Bank of Scotland chief executive Fred Goodwin as an adviser, has been accused of late payment of wages at its offices across the globe and has admitted cash-flow problems during the credit crunch.

More redundancies were announced at the firm’s Scottish operation earlier this year, with the 120 workers in the Edinburgh and Glasgow offices told that about ten of them were likely to lose their jobs.

RMJM was unavailable for comment.
