Two servicemen seriously injured training on Ben Nevis

Two members of the armed forces were injured yesterday after falling on Ben Nevis during adventure training.

Members of Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team also attended and were assisted by a helicopter from HMS Gannet, Prestwick, which airlifted the casualties from the mountain. They were then taken by ambulance to Belford Hospital, Fort William.
