Two schools in Mandarin final
TWO Edinburgh secondary schools will compete in the grand final of a Mandarin Chinese speaking competition.
George Heriot’s and Leith Academy will join four other schools from Scotland at the British Museum in London tomorrow.
A total of 90 pupils from 25 UK schools will compete to win a trip of a lifetime to China.
The competition, run by the British Council and HSBC, promotes the teaching of Mandarin Chinese in UK schools.
