Two people killed in car crash on A9

Northern Constabulary said the collision between two cars a mile and a half south of Dalwhinnie was reported at around 12.15pm.

Officers from the force's road policing unit have arrived at the scene to begin their investigation.

The road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours.

Police are appealing for information and anyone who may have witnessed the collision are urged to contact them on 0845 600 5703.
