Two men stabbed in 'unprovoked' attack

TWO men were stabbed yesterday in what police called a "totally unprovoked attack".

They were walking home on Barke Road, Cumbernauld at around 2:10am when they were assaulted. A 21-year-old was in a "stable" condition, while a 23-year-old was released from hospital after treatment.
