Two men arrested over Wishaw shooting

TWO men have been arrested in connection with an alleged attempted murder near Wishaw train station.

The 28-year-old victim was treated in hospital after being shot during the incident at about 6:00pm on 2 September.

Strathclyde Police said a 35-year-old man had been arrested on Sunday and a 33-year-old man was taken into custody on Tuesday.

Both were due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court earlier this week.
