Two injured in bike crash

A TEENAGE boy is in a critical condition in hospital after he was hit by a motorbike, police said yesterday.

The 14-year-old was crossing Springburn Road near to its junction with Charles Street in Glasgow, when he was struck by the vehicle at around 6:20pm on Sunday. He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he is being treated for serious injuries.

The 46-year-old female rider of the motorbike was also taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where she is being treated for head and leg injuries.
