Two hurt in car park crash

TWO people have been injured when their car collided with several other vehicles in the car park of a shopping centre.

The pair, both in their 60s, were taken to hospital following the crash at the Almondvale Centre in Livingston at 9.30pm last night. One of the casualties was reported to be trapped in the vehicle but had freed themselves before fire crews arrived.

Crews had initially received a call reporting a suspected fuel spillage in the car park but discovered the crash scene on their arrival. Paramedics treated both casualties before taking them to hospital.
