Two homes razed by fire

POLICE are investigating after fire broke out in two homes in West Lothian.

Fire crews got the call just before 8am yesterday to attend the blaze in the Myreside area of Winchburgh, and battled the flames until 6:30pm.

They had to tackle the fire from outside as the buildings were too dangerous to enter.

It is understood no-one had to be rescued from either property and nobody was injured.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious.
