Two cheat death as light plane crashes

Two people avoided serious injury when their light aircraft crash landed yesterday.

Surrey police said officers attended the scene of the crash in the Westcott area of Dorking at 3:45pm following a call from a member of the public.

"Both occupants have been located and no serious injuries have been reported at this stage," a spokeswoman said.
