Police Scotland said it is the fourth discovery of class A drugs in the area in just over a week. The finds are worth a total of £325,000.

Detective Chief Inspector Colin Gall said: ‘’This highlights our determination to disrupt those serious and organised crime groups whose only intention is to profit on the misery of others.

‘’It also makes it absolutely clear to those criminals that they are not welcome in Tayside. We will do everything in our powers to make our communities inhospitable and hostile places for them to try and peddle their poison.

‘’At the same time, we need the public’s help to provide us with the information that can assist in disrupting the activities of drugs dealers.

“Tell us if drugs are being dealt where you live. The information you have can help us to take action against those very individuals who are hurting our communities.’’
