Trump opponent to quit local politics
Debra Storr has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump’s plans for the £750 million resort near Balmedie, first announced almost a decade ago.
Last month, seven fellow councillors on the area planning authority reported her to Scotland’s local government watchdog, the Standard Commissioner, over a row in which she described Trump’s proposed clubhouse as looking like a “Victorian lunatic asylum”.

Hide AdMs Storr, who has been a councillor since 1999, yesterday announced that she will not be seeking re-election to Aberdeenshire Council at the May elections to concentrate on a new career as a planner for a renewable energy company.
