Tributes paid to famous dog

ANIMAL lovers braved freezing weather to pay tribute to the famously loyal Greyfriars Bobby in a ceremony.

Bobby lookalike Blue, a Yorkshire terrier from North Berwick, laid a wreath on the dog's grave in Greyfriars Kirkyard. He was accompanied by Brian McKenzie, dressed as Bobby's companion, Colour Sergeant Scott.

The memorial service was held last Thursday, to mark the 138th anniversary of the dog's death.
