Triathlete has taste of India

A CITY resident is set to compete in the fourth Edinburgh Women’s Triathlon to raise funds for her volunteer placement in India.

Liz Hemsley will travel to Bangalore in September for a three-month voluntary placement organised by Edinburgh-based charity Challenges Worldwide.

Liz, who needs to raise £2000, will carry out fact- finding to inform on the human rights situation in India. She will take part in the triathlon alongside her sister on Sunday.
