A WOMAN died after the car she was driving collided with a lorry on the A75 near Greta yesterday afternoon.

A passenger in the Toyota Yaris was airlifted to hospital, but the extent of their injuries is not yet known. Police said the road was closed for six hours for a crash investigation.
