What became of the Edinburgh Tram bosses that left TIE?

ALL seven senior management figures have now left the tram project after it was taken in-house.

TIE project director Steven Bell took redundancy in July 2011. Mr Bell joined in 2006 as engineering and procurement director, and became project director in January 2008.

A chartered civil engineer with experience in the rail and infrastructure sectors, Mr Bell kept a low public profile, but is credited along with former chief executive Richard Jeffrey with pursuing an aggressive stance with contractors. Mr Jeffrey, below, joined TIE in 2009 having been managing director of Edinburgh Airport and then president of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce.
