Two cars crash on road in Edinburgh
An Edinburgh street has been closed after two cars crashed during rush hour.
The incident took place on Broughton Road, near the junction with Pilrig Street, at around 8.40am.
Emergency services have been sent to the scene.
It is understood firefighters are using cutting equipment to free at least one occupant.
Drivers have been told to avoid the Powderhall area while the road is closed.
