TWO men have been arrested following an apparent brawl on a holiday jet as it prepared to take off.
The men were arrested on board a Thomson flight to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands as it prepared to leave Glasgow Airport today.
The flight was delayed by around an hour and a half as police boarded the plane to remove the unruly passengers and unload their bags.
A passenger on the plane, who did not want to be named, said: “Two people were put off the flight for fighting on the plane.”
Another added: “It just seemed to come out of nowhere really. They just erupted and it kicked right off.

“The police came on board and quickly calmed it down and arrested the pair of them.”
The flight eventually took off around 11.30am - 90 minutes after it was scheduled to take off.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “At around 10.15am police were made aware of a disturbance on a plane at Glasgow Airport.
“Two men aged 53 and 54 have been arrested in connection with the incdent.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
