Three in hospital after car accident at safari park

THREE people have been taken to hospital after a serious accident at the entrance to Blair Drummond Safari Park near Stirling.

Two vehicles were involved in a collision at around 10.10am this morning, according to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, leading to the closure of the B8075 Kirk Lane and the M9 J10 Craigforth.

Scottish Ambulance Service said its helicopter had been called to assist paramedics at the scene.

The A84 had reopened by around 11.45am.

It is believed the three people are being transferred to Forth Valley Hospital in Larbert.
