Tay Rail Bridge closed after man found on tracks
Emergency services were called after the alarm was raised at 8.40am this morning with services in and out of Dundee disrupted.
Police discovered the man on the tracks was alive and had not been hit by a train as had been originally feared.

Hide AdThe man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after talking to officers.
The line was ropened at around 10.10am after the man was taken down from the bridge.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said the man did appear to have any physical injuries.
He said: “We received a call about 8.40 this morning when it was reported there was someone on the tracks near Dundee station.
“Alongside our colleagues with Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service we discovered a man on the tracks.
“He has since been taken to Ninewells Hospital.
“The line was handed back at 10am.”
