ScotRail rolls out extra seats for Madonna fans

ScotRail is providing 11,000 extra seats to help fans travel to and from Madonna’s concert at Murrayfield on Saturday.

More than 50 trains – including services linking Dunblane, Dundee, Fife, and Glasgow with Edinburgh – will have additional carriages for the Queen of Pop’s first-ever concert in Scotland.

The train operator also advised that no alcohol will be allowed on its services after 9pm.

Steve Montgomery, ScotRail’s managing director, said: “We want everyone to have a great evening, and our plans ensure that we can accommodate as many customers as possible in a safe and pleasant environment.”
