ScotRail faces carriages call

SCOTRAIL has been urged to find a solution to a shortage of carriages which has left passengers at Dalmeny stranded.

The problem first arose last week after carriages damaged in the recent storm had to be removed from services into the city, meaning commuters at Dalmeny found the service full.

After being told that the problems were continuing, Mike Crockart, MP for Edinburgh West, has arranged to meet with ScotRail to discuss the problem.
