The exhibition, See Scotland by Train, will be held at the National Museum of Scotland in Chambers Street from March 6 to June 24.
The striking works of art reflect the changing tastes of the rail passenger over the last 100 years and give a flavour of what it meant to travel by rail.
The posters depict some of the most dramatic and scenic locations around the country.
The exhibition, which is free, will be held at the museum’s Exhibition Gallery Two on level three.
