Police hunt luxury cars stolen from Aberdeen home

POLICE Scotland were today following a “positive line of inquiry” after five luxury cars were stolen from a home on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

An Aston Martin, a Ferrari, a white Porsche 911, a grey Toyota Land Cruiser and a grey Audi A5 were stolen in the raid at the property at Banchory-Devenick in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The Aston Martin and Ferrari have already been recovered by officers from the Aberdeenshire Division of Police Scotland.

Detective Inspector Graeme Mackie, who is heading the investigation, said: “Police Scotland can confirm that five vehicles were stolen from a property in the Banchory-Devenick area in the early hours of Tuesday 23 July.

“Two of these vehicles have been traced by Police. The outstanding vehicles include a white Porsche 911, a grey Toyota Land Cruiser and a grey Audi A5.”

He added: “Officers are following a positive line of enquiry and would appeal for anyone who has seen the cars to call Police Scotland on 101.”
