Part of M8 in Edinburgh to close for resurfacing works - here's when
The works are scheduled to take place between 8pm and 6am from Monday, January, 18 to Saturday, January, 23.
There will be no work on Sunday, 24, but it will resume at the same time on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26.

Hide AdFor the safety of road workers and motorists, the westbound carriageway of the M8 will be closed between Junctions 1 and 2 during these works.
The road is set to benefit from a £571,000 Transport Scotland investment in resurfacing and drainage improvements.
A signed diversion route will be in place directing westbound traffic around the works via the A720, A8 and M9 Junction 1, Newbridge.
This will add an estimated four minutes to affected journeys.
All traffic management will be removed during the daytime.
Tommy Deans, BEAR Scotland’s South East Network Manager, said: “These £571,000 improvements on the M8 will repair defects in the road surface and improve drainage, creating safer and smoother journeys for motorists.
“It is essential for the safety of road workers and motorists that we close the carriageway during these works, however we’ve scheduled them to take place overnight in order to minimise any disruption.
“We thank motorists in advance for their patience while our teams carry out these improvements.”
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up to date travel information and allowing extra time for their journey.
