Motorists face £60 bus lane fines

MOTORISTS who drive in bus lanes in Scotland’s biggest city face £60 fines from Monday.

Enforcement cameras have been installed by Glasgow City Council on 11 bus major bus routes, half in the city centre.

The move follows a four-week public awareness campaign, during which errant drivers received warning letters.

The cameras are to help cut bus delays and improve safety.
