More seats for Festival trains

SCOTRAIL is to lay on thousands of extra seats on services to and from Edinburgh over the next two weekends after complaints of overcrowding.

An extra 14,000 seats will be laid on Glasgow, Dundee and Helensburgh services to cope with added demand from
festivalgoers.

The Fringe is running a box office from Glasgow’s Queen Street station for the first time to encourage more people to travel through for the events.
