Man killed by train near Haymarket station

A MAN has been killed by a train close to Haymarket Station this morning, police have confirmed.

The fatality took place at around 5.50am and is understood to have caused some distruption to rail timetables.

Paramedics said they attended an incident at tracks close to Carrick Knowe Golf Course.
