Man dies after being struck by train near Broughty Ferry
A MAN died after being struck by a train on the railway line between Dundee and Arbroath, near Broughty Ferry Station.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene shortly after 11am this morning.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “A person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hide Ad“Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a full report will be submitted to the local Procurator Fiscal.”
ScotRail said some services were briefly affected, but were now running normally.
