Lockerbie M74 crash: police respond to collision at J17

Officers have been called to the scene of a crash on the M74 this morning.

Police have been called to the scene of a crash on the northbound carriageway of the M74 near Lockerbie early this morning.

The incident happened at around 6:20am, between J16 (Johnstonebridge) and J17 (Lockerbie North), according to Traffic Scotland.

The congestion tracker told drivers to approach the area with caution, as all lanes northbound were blocked due to debris on the carriageway.

At 7:35am, Traffic Scotland confirmed that the incident had been cleared.
