There are delays on the A702 this morning with rain and surface water adding to delays on the A702.

The route is busy heading eastbound from Calder to Baberton and westbound from Gilmerton to Lothianburn.

Heavy rain showers and surface water are thought to have added to congestion.

There may be further delays today throughout rush hour.

There are also reports that the A71 between Kirknewton and Wilkieston with one lane closed according to reports.
