Fog disrupts air traffic across UK

TRAVELLERS at Scottish airports suffered continued disruption yesterday as a result of bad weather in London and Amsterdam.

A number of flights to and from London and the Dutch capital were cancelled and others delayed as a result of fog.

Aberdeen and Glasgow airports were forced to cancel a number of flights early yesterday morning, which had a knock-on effect. Edinburgh Airport did not have to cancel flights, but experienced some delays.

There were delays and cancellations from London and Amsterdam airports at the weekend, with Heathrow and London City particularly hard hit.
