Driver arrested over pedestrian collision in Glasgow

A DRIVER has been arrested in connection with a car crash in which a Honda Accord allegedly left the road and collided with a pedestrian.

The man, who was walking along Haggs Road, in Glasgow, suffered serious injuries.

He was taken to the city’s Southern General Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

A 20-year-old has been traced and arrested in connection with the incident.

Police and prosecutors are now hoping to trace witnesses of the crash.
