Death crash motorcyclist named

A MOTORCYCLIST killed in a collision with a car on a busy commuter route in Aberdeen was named yesterday as Derek Allan, 28, from the Bridge of Don area of the city.

He was pronounced dead at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the crash on St Machar Drive on Tuesday evening’s rush hour. The car driver was uninjured.
