A COUNCIL has been forced to flatten a newly completed roundabout which was part 
of a £6.5 million road improvement scheme.

North Lanarkshire Council agreed to reduce the level of the roundabout in Bellshill after several lorry drivers became stuck while trying to navigate it.

An undisclosed fee has now been spent to ensure that the roundabout is at kerb level.
