Biker is killed after colliding with truck

A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed in a crash with a lorry.

The accident happened in Carlisle Road, Airdrie, just after 7am yesterday.

The 30-year-old biker died at the scene.

The 63-year old lorry driver was uninjured in the collision, which is being investigated by Strathclyde Police, who are appealing for witnesses.
