Aberdeen teenager injured in hit-and-run

A 16-year-old boy has been injured in a hit-and-run incident in north Aberdeen.

He was knocked down by a vehicle in Aberdeen’s Provost Rust Drive at about 9.20pm yesterday, police said.

The boy was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with what are believed to be minor injuries.

No description of the vehicle is available.

An 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the same road in July of this year.
