A96 closure: Drivers warned to travel carefully this morning following a gas leak in Aberdeen

Traffic Scotland has urged drivers in Aberdeen to travel with caution this morning after a gas leak forced the closure of a section of the A96.

The leak was first reported on Saturday and emergency work is ongoing to make the area safe again.

In the meantime, the A96 remains closed westbound at the Haudagain Roundabout in Aberdeen.

A diversion is in place directing drivers onto the A92 Mugieross Road, then to the A947 where they will then rejoin the A96 at Bucksburn.
