A90 closed northbound due to two-vehicle crash

The extent of injuries are not yet known.

Police Scotland has closed a section of the A90 following a two-vehicle crash.

Officers were called to the scene around 8.10am after reports of an accident involving a bus and a van, between Dundee and Forfar.

The road is now closed northbound at the Petterden junction near Forfar.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Ambulances are in attendance but the extent of injuries are not yet known.”

Drivers were advised to avoid the area, which is expected to be closed for some time.
