62-year-old killed by motorbike is named
A pedestrian who died after a collision with a motorcycle has been named by police.
John McGovern, 62, of Mallaig Road, Glasgow, died following the incident in the city’s Shieldhall Road at about 4.30pm on Wednesday.
The motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man, was taken to Glasgow’s Southern General Hospital for treatment.
Police said Mr McGovern’s family have been informed and a full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
